After summering here as a child, Mary settled into married life and raising a family in East Orleans. Her husband David is a partner in the engineering firm, Ryder & Wilcox. Their children went through the excellent Nauset school system. Mary is active in the town, through the Orleans Elementary School Committee, the Human Services Committee and formerly on the Cape Cod Light House Charter School Board of Directors.
